Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، يَقُولُ: " مَا صُمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ مَعَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) disapproved of us stayed up after 'Isha’.
