حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي يَهْبِطُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى سُؤْلَهُ؟ وَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَسْطَعَ الْفَجْرُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "The most evil of people will be those upon whom the Hour comes when they are still alive and those who take graves as places of worship."
