Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ: " لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتَهُمْ " (١)، ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو (١) إِسْحَاقُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He is not a believer who maligns People or curses people a great deal or is foulmouthed and rude.”
