حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنِّي فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ، وَإِنِّي سَأُنَازَعُ رِجَالًا، فَأُغْلَبُ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَأَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ أَصْحَابِي، فَيُقَالُ: لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) halted at a place and a man went to a thicket and brought out the eggs of a bird. The bird came and started soaring above the heads of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and his Companions. He said: “Which of you upset it?” A man said: I took its eggs. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Put them back."
