Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَدْعُو، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَدْعُو، فَقَالَ: " سَلْ تُعْطَهْ "، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ إِيمَانًا لَا يَرْتَدُّ، وَنَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ، وَمُرَافَقَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي أَعْلَى، ، غُرَفِ الْجَنَّةِ، جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) that
It was said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): How will you recognize those of your ummah who have not seen you? He said: "They will have shining faces and limbs because of the traces of wudoo’”
