حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ هُوَ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ (١) ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفُرَاتِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَعْيَنِ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ الْجُشَمِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ الْقِرَدَةِ وَالْخَنَازِيرِ، أَمِنْ نَسْلِ الْيَهُودِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يَلْعَنْ قَوْمًا قَطُّ، فَمَسَخَهُمْ وَكَانَ لَهُمْ نَسْلٌ حَتَّى يُهْلِكَهُمْ، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، غَضِبَ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ، فَمَسَخَهُمْ، وَجَعَلَهُمْ (٢) مِثْلَهُمْ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to eat meat, then he would get up and pray and he would not touch water.
