Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ،، ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ أَعَفَّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الْإِيمَانِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Verily, your companion is the close friend of Allah, may He be exalted and glorified."
