Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ،، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ مِمَّا يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ: سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَالْفَتْحُ، قَالَ: " سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا (١) وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) that
When the Prophet (ﷺ) lay down on his side on his bed, he said: "Protect me from Your punishment on the Day You gather Your slaves together."
