حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ (١) ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ نَزَلَ (٢) بِهِ حَاجَةٌ فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ، كَانَ قَمِنًا مِنْ أَنْ لَا تَسْهُلَ حَاجَتُهُ، وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللهِ، أتَاهُ (٣) اللهُ بِرِزْقٍ عَاجِلٍ، أَوْ بِمَوْتٍ آجِلٍ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) that
One of the things that the Prophet (ﷺ) often said was "Glory and praise be to You our Lord’ O Allah forgive me." When the soorah "When there comes the Help of Allah (to you, O Muhammad (ﷺ) against your enemies) and the Conquest (of Makkah)" (an-Nasr 110:1) was revealed, he said: “Glory and praise be to You, O Allah our Lord. O Allah, forgive me, for You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Most Merciful."
