Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالتُّقَى، وَالْعِفَّةَ (١) ، وَالْغِنَى " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade us to wear gold rings or iron rings.
