حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي، يَهْبِطُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ، فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى سُؤْلَهُ (١) ؟ فَلَا، ، يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ، حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): “whoever has a need and refers his need to people deserves not to have his need met, but whoever turns to Allah, He will grant him provision immediately or death at a later time.”
