حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْلَى، عَنْ رَبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ خَطَّ خَطًّا مُرَبَّعًا،، ، وَخَطَّ خَطًّا وَسَطَ الْخَطِّ الْمُرَبَّعِ، وَخُطُوطًا إِلَى جَنْبِ الْخَطِّ الَّذِي وَسَطَ الْخَطِّ الْمُرَبَّعِ، وَخَطٌّ خَارِجٌ مِنَ الْخَطِّ الْمُرَبَّعِ، قَالَ: " هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا؟ " قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " هَذَا الْإِنْسَانُ، الْخَطُّ الْأَوْسَطُ، وَهَذِهِ الْخُطُوطُ الَّتِي (١) إِلَى جَنْبِهِ (٢) : الْأَعْرَاضُ تَنْهَشُهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ، إِنْ أَخْطَأَهُ هَذَا، أَصَابَهُ هَذَا، وَالْخَطُّ الْمُرَبَّعُ: الْأَجَلُ الْمُحِيطُ بِهِ، وَالْخَطُّ الْخَارِجُ: الْأَمَلُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever asks of people when he has enough to suffice him, his begging will come on the Day of Resurrection like scratches or gouges on his face.” It was said, O Messenger of Allah, what is sufficient for him? He said. "Fifty dirhams, or their value in gold.”
