حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ:، صَلَّى عُمَرُ الصُّبْحَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: كُنَّا مَعَ عُمَرَ بِجَمْعٍ - فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانُوا لَا يُفِيضُونَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، وَيَقُولُونَ: أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ، وَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالَفَهُمْ، فَأَفَاضَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ (٣) .، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Amr bin Maimoon said:
`Umar (رضي الله عنه) prayed Fajr when he was in Jam`. Abu Dawood said: We were with `Umar in Jamo, and he said: The mustrikoort used not to move on until the sun rose, and they would say: Shine, (Mount) Thabeer. The Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah differed from them and moved on before the sun rose.
