Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَان (١) اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْزُنُهُ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood:

The moon was split at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) into two parts and they saw it. And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Bear witness.”
