Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فِي رَأْسِهِ، مِنْ صُدَاعٍ وَجَدَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn '‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to go to bed hungry for several nights- 'Abdus-Samad said: in a row - and his family could find no supper. And most of their bread was barley bread.
