Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْتَهَسَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Wear white garments, for they are among the best of your garments, and shroud your dead in them. And the best of your kohl is antimony; it makes the hair grow and makes the vision clear."
