Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَحِلَّ، فَحَلَلْنَا، فَلُبِسَتِ الثِّيَابُ، وَسَطَعَتِ الْمَجَامِرُ، وَنُكِحَتِ النِّسَاءُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) granted a concession allowing cloth dyed with saffron so long as there was no dust or excess dye on it.
