Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ - قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ: وَمَنْ مَعَهُ - سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا، ثُمَّ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ بَعْدُ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ: ثُمَّ جُعِلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ (١) وقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو: ثُمَّ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ بَعْدُ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
He said concerning the prostration in (Soorat) Sad: It is not among the compulsory prostrations, but I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prostrating in it.
