Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَيْرُ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضُ،، ، فَالْبَسُوهَا (١) وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ، وَخَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ (٢) "،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade blowing on to food and drink.
