Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْبَهْرَانِيِّ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
'Amr bin Deenar narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) used to say:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Dates should not be sold until they become edible.”
