حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَرْقَمِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ جَاءَ، أَخَذَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ مِنْ حَيْثُ كَانَ بَلَغَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say at times of distress: "There is no god but Allah, the Most High, the Most Great; there is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Most Generous; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
