حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْفَجْرِ: ألم تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ، وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ حِينٌ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) saw al-Fadl bin ‘Abbas looking at a woman on the afternoon of ‘Arafah. The Prophet (ﷺ) put his hand like this over the boy's eyes and said: This is a day on which whoever guards his eyes and tongue will be forgiven.
