Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ بِسَرِفَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ بِهَا بَعْدَمَا رَجَعَ بِسَرِفَ (١) "،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best of your garments are those that are white, so wear them and shroud your dead in them. And the best of your kohl is antimony.”
