حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الله (١) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْحَيَّاتُ مَسْخُ الْجِنِّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited during the eclipse prayer when there was an eclipse of the sun, and we did not hear even one letter from him.
