حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَهُ فِي الثَّقَلِ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed women who visit graves and those who build places of worship and set up lamps over them. Hajjaj said: Shu'bah said: I think he meant the Jews.
