حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ، فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَتْ مَيْمُونَةُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَضَعَ لَكَ هَذَا عَبْدُ، ، اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ. فَقَالَ: " اللهُمَّ فَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ، وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيلَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Ata' bin Abi Rabah said that he heard Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrate that
A man was wounded at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He had a wet dream and was told to do ghusl, and he died. News of that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: "They have killed him, may Allah kill them. The remedy for the one who does not know is asking."
