Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا، فَمَا بَقِيَ، فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a dead sheep and said: who did this sheep belong to?" They said: To Maimoonah. He said: "Why don't you make use of its hide?"
