حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَوْ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَوْ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ، فَلْيَتَعَجَّلْ، فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ تَضِلُّ الضَّالَّةُ، وَيَمْرَضُ الْمَرِيضُ، وَتَكُونُ الْحَاجَةُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about Hajj, was it every year? He said: "Every Muslim has to do one Haji. If I said every year, then it would become (obligatory).”
