Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ وَطِئَ أَمَتَهُ، فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ، فَهِيَ مُعْتَقَةٌ عَنْ دُبُرٍ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) took a ring and wore it, then he said: "This has been distracting me from you all day, I was looking at it and looking at you.” Then he threw it away.
