Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَفَاءَلُ وَلا يَتَطَيَّرُ، وَيُعْجِبُهُ كُلُّ اسْمٍ حَسَنٍ " (١)،

English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade walking in one khuff or oոe shoe,
