Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا ضِرَارَ، (١) وَلِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ خَشَبَةً فِي حَائِطِ جَارِهِ، وَالطَّرِيقُ الْمِيتَاءُ سَبْعَةُ (٢) أَذْرُعٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed judgement on the basis of a witness and an oath.
