Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَحَمَّتْ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ،، ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَحِمُّ مِنْ فَضْلِهَا، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Any man who dislikes something in his ruler, let him be patient, for there is no one who rebels against the ruler as much as a handspan and dies, but he has died a death of Jahiliyyah”.
