Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ (٣) ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْعَطَّارِ،، ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ دِينَارًا، فَنِصْفُ دِينَارٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
‘Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.”
