Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ، (١) قَالَ: " مَنْ وَلَدَتْ مِنْهُ أَمَتُهُ، فَهِيَ مُعْتَقَةٌ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ، أَوْ قَالَ: بَعْدَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) from the Prophet (ﷺ):
“Whoever is killed striving to ward off an injustice done to him is a martyr."
