حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ، اشْتَرَى سِقَايَةً مِنْ فِضَّةٍ بِأَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا أَوْ أَكْثَرَ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ مِثْلِ هَذَا إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ata bin Yasar says that once Muawiyah bought a silver bowl for more or less than its price, so Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade its sale except that it be equal for equal.
