حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {، ، الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ، لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا} [يونس: ٦٤] قَالَ: "هي (١) الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ، أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) explained the Quranic verse "For them are glad tidings in the life of this world" by saying that what is meant by glad tidings are good dreams which a Muslim sees himself or which someone else sees for him. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
