Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ (١) ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا (٢) أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ السُّلَمِيُّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَلْبَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَوْ غُفِرَ لَكُمْ مَا تَأْتُونَ إِلَى الْبَهَائِمِ لَغُفِرَ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: If those sins of yours are forgiven which you commit against animals, then many sins will be forgiven.
