Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ بَعْضِ إِخْوَانِهِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَنْقُصُ إِلَّا الشَّرَّ، فَإِنَّهُ يُزَادُ فِيهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Everything decreases except evil, for it continues to increase.
