حَدِيثُ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (١)، ٢٧٤٧٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ، عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ أَفْضَلِ الْأَعْمَالِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّلَاةُ لِأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the most virtuous deed, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "To perform the prayer at its earliest time."
