حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ ْمُبَارَكِ (٤) ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُمِّهِ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَانًا مِنْ دَارِ يَعْلَى - نَسَبَهُ (٥) عُبَيْدُ اللهِ - اسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ (٦) فَدَعَا " قَالَ (٧) : وَكُنْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ إِذَا جِئْنَا ذَلِكَ الْمَوْضِعَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ فَدَعَا (٨)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Tariq (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) entered a house of Dar Ya'la—"the name of which was Ubaidullah, but she forgot"—he would face the direction of the Ka'bah and supplicate.
