حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَتْ (١) : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ، أَيُّهَا قَرَأْتَ أَجْزَأَكَ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Noble Qur'an has been revealed on seven letters; whichever letter you recite it upon, it will suffice for you."
