حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ (١) ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُخْبِرُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْعِيرُ الَّتِي فِيهَا الْجَرَسُ لَا تَصْحَبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are bells."
