Original Arabic
[قَالَ: عَبْدُ اللهِ] (١) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا جَرَسٌ "، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: تَعِسْتَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ لِي: كَيْفَ هُوَ؟ قُلْتُ (٢) : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: صَدَقْتَ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are bells."
