Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَخْطَأَ، أَوْ هَمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ لَيْسَ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The talbiyah of the Prophet (ﷺ) was:
"Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner.”
