Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ: " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ أُدَاوِي الْمَرْضَى، وَأَقُومُ (١) عَلَى جِرَاحَاتِهِمْ، وَأَخْلُفُهُمْ (٢) فِي رِحَالِهِمْ أَصْنَعُ لَهُمُ الطَّعَامَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that I participated in seven battles along with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I used to stay in the tents and prepare food for the warriors, take care of the sick, and treat the wounded.
