Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ، فَقَالَ: " كُلُوا مِنْ حَوْلِهَا، وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا، فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say:
"O Allah, to You have I submitted, in You have I believed, in You have I put my trust, to You have I turned in repentance, with Your help have I fought my adversaries. I seek refuge in Your glory - there is no god but You - from Your sending me astray, for You are the Ever-Living Who does not die, but jinn and men die."
