Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mutlib bin Abi Wada'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) perform the prostration of recitation at the verse of prostration in Surah An-Najm, and all the people also prostrated, but I did not prostrate because at that time I was a polytheist. Therefore, now I will never abandon this prostration.
