Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Suwaid bin Tariq (may Allah be pleased with him) that he submitted in the court: O Messenger of Allah! We live in a region of grapes, can we squeeze them (and drink their wine)? The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No." He asked: Can we give it to patients as a treatment? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There is no cure in it, rather it is a disease."
