حَدِيثُ (١) كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ (٢)، ٢٧١٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَعْنِي: " أَنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَائِرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ (٣) الْجَنَّةِ "، وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ: " نَسَمَةٌ تَعْلُقُ فِي ثَمَرَةٍ (٤) أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The souls of the martyrs reside in the form of green birds on the trees of Paradise." It is narrated from Ka'b that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The soul of a Muslim resides in the form of birds on the trees of Paradise, until the Day of Resurrection when Allah Almighty will return it to its body."
