حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى الطَّائِفِيَّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ،، ، عَنْ مَوْلَاتِهِ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ رِدْفَ أَبِي، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ، صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ بِبُوَانَةَ، فَقَالَ: " أَبِهَا وَثَنٌ أَمْ طَاغِيَةٌ؟ " فَقَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: " أَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Maymunah bint Kardam (may Allah be pleased with her) that I met the Prophet (ﷺ) in Makkah Mukarramah. At that time, the Prophet (ﷺ) was riding his camel, and I was riding behind him with my father. Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that my father asked the Prophet (ﷺ): "I had made a vow that I would slaughter fifty goats on the peak of Buwana." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked: "Is there any idol or anything like that there?" He replied: "No." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then fulfill the vow you made for Allah."
